Within the framework of its corporate social responsibility practices, Ecopetrol S.A. seeks to improve the quality of life for stakeholders by awarding assignments at no cost, prioritizing requests from entities located in the Company's areas of operation and influence.
Ecopetrol assigned at no cost during 2025:
- Pipes required by the mayor's offices of Tibú (Norte de Santander), Ipiales (Nariño), Tauramena (Casanare), and Valle del Guamuez (Putumayo), the Government of Casanare, and INVÍAS for the recovery of tertiary roads, attention to emergencies, pedestrian crossings, cattle enclosures, and the recovery of pedestrian bridges, among others.
- Generator equipment as an alternative energy supply for the municipality of Bojayá (Chocó).
- Mechanical pumping unit to strengthen knowledge, education, and interaction between the community and the energy sector in the municipality of Cantagallo (Bolívar).
- Pediatric mechanical cots for the hospitalization and care service for child patients at the Juan David Ramírez Enciso Health Center in the municipality of Puerto Parra (Santander).
The cost of the transferred pipes and equipment amounts to $404 million, with a total of 9 allocations intended for the execution of the aforementioned works.
