Level of perception of stakeholders: society, community and local government

The level of perception of the stakeholders in the territory1 achieved results of 81% in 2022, reaching an "Excellent" management level above 80%, which in the last four years (2018 to 2021) had resulted in a "Robust" management level between 70% and 79%. This is a positive balance that shows considerable improvement in the perception among stakeholders in the territory; it shows that the engagement efforts have allowed to strengthen relationships of trust and contribute to the business objectives and the Social Setting Management Strategy. Likewise, it implies important challenges for coming years to maintain and improve relations with our stakeholders. 

On the part of the Local Government, the perception improved significantly, increasing by 15% as compared to the previous year. The most valued attributes are recognized: i) creation of opportunities for permanent dialogue (93%), ii) solidarity in moments of crisis and emergency (90%), iii) coordination with the goals of the local, regional, and national Government (89%), iv) effectiveness in communication, information and attention channels (88%), v) promotion of respect for human rights (87%). The main attributes with the greatest variation were: i) coordination of the company with the purposes of the local, regional, and national Government (+24%), ii) promotion of equal opportunities and respect for the difference (+20%) and iii) solidarity in moments of crisis and emergencies (+20%). The most valued attributes are recognized: i) generation of spaces for permanent dialogue (93%), ii) solidarity in moments of crisis and emergency (90%), iii) articulation with the purposes of the local, regional, and national Government (89%), iv) effectiveness in communication, information, and attention channels (88%), v) promotion of respect for human rights (87%).

Regarding the result in the perception of the Society and Community Group, it increased by 7% as compared to the previous year. Likewise, the most highly valued attributes include: i) promotion and respect for human rights in the territories (83%), ii) effectiveness in communication, information and service channels (81%), and iii) contribution to the economic reactivation of the territories (77%). Among the attributes with the greatest positive variation, the following stand out: i) the promotion of contracting of local labor and goods and services within the framework of current regulations (+13%), ii) building relationships that generate trust (+12%), and iii) the promotion of equal opportunities and respect for difference (+10%). Although the perception improved positively, it should be noted that the result was not equally significant for the Local Government group, which motivates us to continue progressing and strengthening relationships of trust, fulfilling our commitments, generating more dialogue opportunities, strengthening the productive vocation of the territory and local entrepreneurship, improving information on the potential positive and negative impacts of activities and projects, to achieve a relationship that contributes more strongly to the fulfillment of the objectives of the Social Settings Management Strategy and of the Business.
