We are aware of our role as economic agents and social actors in Colombia, and we are convinced that the greatest positive impact we generate in society, the environment and the economy, we make from our businesses, when we act in an ethical, conscious, responsible and sustainable manner, and we account for it in a public and transparent way.

From Grupo Éxito, Bavaria, Movistar, Postobón, Enel, Terpel, Grupo Sura, Grupo Nutresa, Grupo Argos, Grupo Bancolombia and Grupo Ecopetrol, with the value we generate for more than 45 million customers and users, 203,000 employees, 126,000 suppliers, 374. We understand more than ever how interconnected we are, how vulnerable we are and the importance of working together, which is why we joined forces more than a year ago to work together in our commitment to the Sustainable Development of Colombia, seeking to move towards a more prosperous economy oriented to the fulfillment of the 2030 Agenda and the commitments of the Paris Agreement.

We endorse the following indicators as minimum and common indicators that account for the impact we generate, we will report them on an annual basis and we invite the entire private sector to advance in the reporting of these.

  • Due to the restrictions on attendance during 2020, in 2021 the training courses specific to the operation increased considerably, especially those of operational excellence, which increased by more than 34% compared to the previous year. Taking into account that this type of training applies to areas with large populations and mostly men (operations and maintenance), a high numerical impact was generated in the total number of training hours for Ecopetrol. When discriminating the training in thematic areas for administrative areas, where the number of women is higher than in operations, the average number of training hours for women is similar to the average number of training hours for men, as shown below and as it has been in recent years.
