Ecopetrol S.A. is a mixed-economy company of a commercial nature, organized as a corporation at the national level, and affiliated with the Ministry of Mines and Energy, in accordance with the provisions of Law 1118 of 2006. Its is governed by its Bylaws, which are fully contained in Public Deed No. 1273 of June 18, 2024, issued by Notary Fifty-Two of Bogotá.
