To strengthen relationships within community and the company. Ecopetrol, in the framework of its corporate social responsibility practices, seeks to contribute to improve the quality of life of its stakeholders through the allocation of transfer - at no cost for them with priority given to requests from entities located in its areas of operation and influence.

During 2022, Ecopetrol ceded materials requested by municipalities free or against payment to: Rionegro, San Vicente de Chucurí, Concepción and Puerto Parra (Santander), San Carlos de Guaroa and Acacías (Meta), Paz de Ariporo (Casanare), Medina (Cundinamarca) and the Cooperativa Cooagropaz (Huila). Likewise, a land was ceded to the municipality of Tibú (Norte de Santander) to build a mega school at the industrial zone of this municipality.

The cost of the material and the land ceded amounts to $508,195,765 COP, with a total of 10 allocations intended for building, maintenance, enhancement, and conditioning of various community structures such as pedestrian and vehicular bridges in rural areas, parks, and community and educational sports arenas, feeders and corrals for livestock, among others.
