Technology Cooperation Agreements
Regarding relations with the scientific community, the ICP ended 2011 with 57 technological cooperation agreements on issues that span the entire hydrocarbons value chain: 23 with national universities, 13 with national institutions, 7 with international institutions, as well as 14 memberships in international institutions. These agreements engaged more than 390 students from research incubators, 67 of them within postgraduate programs. The management of these agreements in 2011 exceeded 12,000 million pesos for Ecopetrol, of which approximately 7,000 million pesos was disbursed.
